About Better Nature Tempeh


Better Nature Tempeh was founded by four friends: Driando, Chris, Elin and Fabio.

We’ve always loved a good health hack. So, when we came across a wholefood protein that was also packed with fibre and gut-friendly prebiotics, we knew we had to get the word out. And get more people eating it. We set a goal to get 100 million people regularly eating tempeh by 2030.

Tempeh is made with fermented whole soybeans, and has been eaten as a protein staple in Indonesia for 400 years so it’s well and truly tried and tested. We call it supercharged protein.

Whether in a stir-fry, salad, sandwich or even a smoothie, half a pack of tasty tempeh gives you more protein than two eggs while adding to your plant points too.

We’re a certified B Corp™ and donate 1% of our sales to tackle malnutrition in Indonesia, where tempeh originates.

Our tempeh has a very low carbon footprint (verified by My Emissions) and is made using sustainably-grown, non-GMO soya beans.
